Why fertilization is part of the program
Grass removes nutrients from the soil as it grows and is cut. A planned fertilizer application supports colour, density and root growth when the lawn can use those nutrients. The goal is steady turf health, not a sudden flush of growth that creates more stress or mowing.
Fertilization works best alongside sound mowing, suitable watering and relief from soil compaction. That is why Premium combines it with the regular mowing route, dethatching, aeration and overseeding instead of treating it as the only step.
What the Premium package includes
- Every Basic visit: mowing, trimming, edging and blow-down
- Spring and fall cleanup from the Standard package
- Dethatching to clear built-up material
- One core-aeration service
- Overseeding with a Northern Ontario blend
- Two fertilizer applications during the season
The timing of individual turf-health steps depends on the service schedule, weather and lawn condition. We communicate any weather-related changes rather than treating them as skipped work.
What fertilization does not guarantee
Fertilizer cannot correct every lawn problem by itself. Shade, drainage, drought, pet damage, insects, disease and inconsistent watering can all affect results. The service supports the lawn, but it does not promise a perfect or weed-free property.
Weed control is not listed as an included Premium-package service on the current pricing page. We keep the scope clear so the written quote matches the work customers receive.
Premium package pricing
For eligible property tiers, Premium adds a flat $825 to the Basic full-season price. Current full-season totals and mid-season calculations are available on our transparent pricing page.
